Overview

Inimmune develops immune therapies and components to make vaccines more effective, with a particular focus on novel adjuvants. The company is advancing immune-based therapies for oncology, allergy and other emerging pathogens, including antibiotic‑resistant infections. It partnered with the University of Montana to support a COVID-19 vaccine effort. Inimmune plans to use the new funding to advance at least two late‑stage preclinical drug candidates into Phase I human clinical trials. Founded in 2016 by Kendal Ryter, Helene Bazin‑Lee, David Burkhart and Jay Evans, the company was formed with a team of scientists from GlaxoSmithKline and is based in Missoula, Montana. Since 2016 it has also secured more than $12 million in research grants and contracts, including a $2 million NIH grant.
