INK Games
3200 Palm Way 122, Austin, Texas, 78756, United States
Overview
INK Games builds a mobile-first social gaming and commerce platform that tracks users' social reach and shares game and project revenues with them. Core to the product is a proprietary Payment and Tracking Engine that maps viral reach, scores audience engagement, and powers payouts via the INK Pay app and INK IDs. The company’s flagship title, Prize Kingdoms, is an in-house casual free-to-earn board-style game currently in testing with a worldwide launch slated for later this year. INK describes the experience as enabling users to earn passively and continually from their network value and says the platform can support multiple experiences, including free-to-play and free-to-earn. The team is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and plans to grow headcount from 45 to 90 by year-end. INK is also evaluating where web3 technologies and other experiences can add value and may integrate those in the future. InfluenceInk, parent of INK Games, builds the INK Platform to let creators, influencers, players and smartphone users track and monetize their global connectivity and viral reach. Core to the platform is a proprietary payment and tracking engine that algorithmically maps each user’s viral audience, converts engagement into an Impact Score, and pays users perpetually based on that score. The platform uses INK IDs (user handles) to connect users and enable ongoing revenue capture rather than one-off brand payments. InfluenceInk is developing an SDK so third-party developers can integrate the INK engine, and its first in-house flagship title, Prize Kingdoms, will showcase the platform. The team includes veterans from EA, Zynga, SciPlay, and Buffalo Studios and is focused on shifting marketing power back to creators, influencers, players, and game developers. Proceeds from the announced fundraising are being used for IP and mobile game content development, talent acquisition, and platform deployment.
