INNFRA
Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan
Overview
Founded in October 2023, INNFRA is a Yamanashi-based startup dedicated to bringing off-grid infrastructure to market so that communities can live comfortably without conventional electricity grids or water/sewage lines. Its core products are the INNFRA Water circulation system, which sources, treats, and reuses water on-site, and the modular INNFRA Base unit that bundles water and energy functionality. The company supplements these products with consulting, design, installation, and long-term maintenance services, enabling remote residences, pop-up resorts, and disaster-resilient facilities. INNFRA has run more than five years of real-world pilots, including a fully self-sufficient residence in Hokuto City, MUJI HOUSE’s mobile “Infrastructure-Zero House,” and a disaster-ready roadside station in Fujikawa. The fresh capital will fund wider deployment of the water system, expansion into disaster-prevention and regional revitalization markets, and team hiring. Although revenue or user figures have not been disclosed, the company has secured ¥62.58 million in seed financing to accelerate commercialization.
