Inno-3B builds turnkey, fully automated and remotely monitored vertical farming systems for customers ranging from researchers and biotechnologists to small-scale and multinational producers. Its robotic growing systems provide controlled environments and real-time support to grow organic produce, berries and herbs with high yields and low energy use. The company operates across Quebec and Ontario and currently employs 15 people at two locations. Management says it is exploring synergies with artificial intelligence as part of future development. The business plans to use new funding to deploy a real-time demonstration of its technology, accelerate product marketing and intensify R&D. The raise is also intended to expand design and manufacturing capabilities and create 10 new jobs to support growth.
