InnoLight Technology Corporation designs, builds and markets high-speed optical transceivers for cloud computing. Founded in April 2008 and led by CEO Dr. Sheng Liu, the company focuses on products that enable rapid bandwidth expansion for Web 2.0 companies. Customers include major Web 2.0 cloud operators, tier-one equipment OEMs and leading system integrators across North America, Europe and Asia. The company has sales offices and R&D centers in mainland China, the U.S. and Taiwan. In September 2014 InnoLight closed a $38m Series C financing. It intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its technology and expand productive capacity.
