Innova Dynamics develops and supplies advanced materials technologies that impact a broad range of fields including electronics, optics, energy, water treatment, coatings, biology and chemistry. The company is a spin-out of the University of Pennsylvania and is based in Philadelphia, PA. Innova works with Fortune 500 companies, innovative SMEs, non-profits and government entities. The company raised $5.5M in a Series A financing to support commercial development. The capital infusion will allow Innova Dynamics to develop successful commercial partnerships. Rho Ventures led the round and MentorTech Ventures participated; Rho partner Nicholas Darby, Ph.D., joined the company’s board as chairman in conjunction with the funding.
