Inova Labs is an Austin medical device company focused on the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) market. Its core product is the FDA-approved LifeChoice® Portable Oxygen Concentrator System, which uses proprietary “Pulse Wave” technology and an “Auto Mode” to deliver prescribed oxygen during activity and sleep. The device is FAA-approved for air travel and is manufactured under strict ISO certification guidelines. Led by CEO John Rush, the company is commercializing LifeChoice and plans to bring additional devices to market. Inova Labs secured up to $17.5M in Series B equity financing to support its commercial launch and product expansion. Inova Labs develops, manufactures and supplies medical devices, notably the LifeChoice® portable oxygen concentrator product line. The LifeChoice line is manufactured in Austin, Texas. The company plans nationwide and international sales expansion and continuation of next-stage product developments. Proceeds from the recent financing will also support working capital. Management expects to hire about 75 additional sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing-related employees over the next year. Dr. Richard Lin of Three Arch Partners will join Inova’s board in conjunction with the funding.
