Overview
Founded in 2020, Inquis Medical is a privately held medical technology company focused on advancing mechanical thrombectomy for venous thromboembolic disease (VTE). Its flagship product, the AVENTUS Thrombectomy System, combines directional aspiration, in-line autologous blood reinfusion, and proprietary tissue-sensing technology to maximize clot-removal efficiency while minimizing blood loss. The platform has expanded regulatory clearance to include pulmonary embolism and recently published pivotal trial data in JSCAI involving 130 intermediate-risk PE patients with no device-related adverse events. Following a national commercial launch in 2025, the company is building out sales and physician-training infrastructure and compiling additional clinical evidence. Proceeds from recent financings will also support development of next-generation products addressing procedural complexities in large-vessel thrombectomy. Although no revenue figures were disclosed, management cites strong commercial momentum and a roadmap aimed at redefining VTE care.
