Overview

Inscopix develops a universal platform for real-time brain mapping built around its nVista brain imaging technology. The platform combines hardware and software infrastructure to let researchers study neural circuit activity and map the brain in action. Inscopix ran a three-year Neuroscience Early Access Program (NEAP) that engaged 150 neuroscience research groups, including five Nobelists and 23 HHMI investigators, producing over 20 publications validating nVista. The company positions its platform to fuel breakthroughs that enable new diagnostics and therapeutics for neurological and psychiatric disorders. Inscopix is a private sector partner of the White House BRAIN Initiative and was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2015, with earlier recognition from The Scientist in 2013. Following a $10M Series A, the company intends to invest in R&D and commercial scale-up to make the platform broadly accessible to the scientific community.
