InShare builds risk-management insurance solutions tailored to companies and independent workers in the sharing economy. The company says it solves both sides of the insurance challenge by enabling platforms to control costs and scale products profitably while providing affordable protections for independent workers. InShare has partnered with Mobilitas Insurance to distribute coverage for commercial fleet owners focused on last-mile delivery and is building an insurance program for one of the world’s largest logistics companies. The company is building a technology foundation intended to allow rapid launch of programs that keep pace with the fast-moving sharing economy. Founded in 2019 and based in Scottsdale, InShare has a team of about 11 and recently added Brandy Mayfield as chief underwriting officer and Pooya Sarabandi as chief technology officer. It recently closed a $7.5 million funding round from ManchesterStory, The Hive and Avanta Ventures.
