InSpace has developed a mostly-software system that displays media and information in three-dimensional hierarchical space, creating a new browsing paradigm for finding files and running programs. The product is positioned as a richer interface model for desktops, TVs, and tablets, with the team arguing these platforms will evolve over the next decade. Founders David Holme and Servan Keondjian are leading the effort and the company says it is close to being granted a patent covering the broad navigation paradigm of hierarchical 3D space. The team has opened a beta signup for early users. Financially, InSpace has been funded to the tune of £400,000 by private angel investors.
