InsureStreet is a London-based insurtech focused on the property rental market, offering insurance-based alternatives to traditional cash deposits. The platform issues a digital RentPassport™ to validate renter profiles and provide instant insurance quotes to cover deposits. Renters pay a one-off insurance policy for the duration of the rental contract instead of a cash deposit, and the platform rewards good behaviour with lower premiums at renewal. InsureStreet is regulated by the FCA and is selectively piloting with partners including HISCOX, Experian, Urban Spaces, Get Living, Quintain (Tipi), Essential Living, Atlas Residential, Walten & Allen and Fifty Thousand Homes. The company was part of the Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab. Financially, InsureStreet raised £512k in initial funding and is currently raising an additional £1.8m.
