Intact develops business management software that helps companies manage finance, stock, customer relationships, sales and other operational areas. Its flagship product, Intact iQ, is central to the company’s offering and it focuses on businesses that must manage large inventories. The company built a reputation working with building materials distribution industries in the Republic of Ireland and the UK. Intact was founded in 1992 by Aidan Lawless and Paul Marry and employs about 300 people across offices in the Republic, the UK and the US. Justin Lawless has served as chief executive since 2013. The company says it will use the recently raised capital to accelerate its US expansion and to enhance Intact iQ.
