Intent Solutions is an Atlanta, Georgia–based medical-device maker of TAD™, a smart, mobile medication dispenser. TAD can be programmed to specific regimens and schedules, incorporates biometric access, is fully tamper resistant, and records adherence data sent to a cloud database for analysis. The adherence data is intended to reduce errors and simplify data reconciliation for clinical trials. The company closed $1.5M in seed funding and plans to use the proceeds for ongoing technology and software development, additional patent filings, and sales and marketing. TAD was conceived by Dr. Van Crisco (chairman) and Marty McClean (director). The company is led by president Sam Zamarripa.
