Interface.ai builds a collection of voice- and text-based AI agents designed to handle basic bank customer service requests, such as modifying mortgage payments and opening new accounts. The agents are powered by models trained on in-house data and can be fine-tuned on a bank's internal data; they include pre-built integrations, data models, workflows, and configurable upsell capabilities. The company says it is trusted by more than 100 financial institutions across North America, processes millions of interactions every day, and is generating tens of millions in annual recurring revenue. Founded in 2019 by CEO Srinivas Njay and Bruce Kim, Interface had been completely bootstrapped until this round. With the new funding, Interface plans to expand its 120-person team across North America and India and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. Its product targets regional and community banks that often lack resources to build AI in-house, positioning the company amid growing but cautious bank adoption of generative AI.
