InterviewBit operates an advanced six-month online computer science program for college graduates and early-career engineers, recently rebranded to Scaler Academy. The program delivers live-streamed sessions and mentorship from tech leaders at companies including Google, Facebook, Twitter and Netflix, and the startup says it works with more than 600 companies. Nine months ago the company pivoted to an income-sharing model that lets students pay much of the coaching fee after landing a job. More than 2,000 students have enrolled across seven batches (one run in the U.S.), and the company has received over 200,000 applications. Several hundred enrolled students have landed roles at firms such as Google, Amazon and Microsoft, and students spend on average four to five hours per day on the platform. InterviewBit raised $20M in a Series A and plans to use the capital to scale enrollment, enter new markets, and invest in its curriculum and live teaching product.
