InterviewJet provides employers with a weekly curated introduction to experienced engineers (Ruby on Rails, Python, mobile) and gives companies 72 hours to schedule interviews. The company vets candidates, dresses up profiles to improve interview odds, and uses proprietary sourcing technology plus crowd‑sourced lead gen. Since its beta rollout in early 2014 it has facilitated roughly 1,000 interviews and signed up more than 450 employers; the team is about ten employees. InterviewJet currently signs up roughly half of the 40–50 companies that apply each week and vets 10–12 new candidates to show member companies. It charges a flat fee of $9,500 per hire and has already facilitated multiple acqui‑hires, including a Samsung arrangment last summer. The startup completed Talent Tech Labs’ New York incubator and plans to use new funding to expand its sales and product teams, increasing staff on both by about half.
