Investorist operates a B2B marketplace and provides software for the off-the-plan property industry. Founded in August 2013, the company has grown to attract more than $45 billion in property listings and serves 5,000 customers across 25 countries. It has achieved a valuation of around $30 million after three years in operation. The company is in rapid global expansion mode, with offices in Miami, the UK and China and plans to open offices in New York and other locations next year. Investorist expects US revenues to surpass its Australian revenues within 12 months. Management says the company will use new funding to drive further penetration into new and existing markets and to strengthen its platform’s technical capabilities for scale and added functionality.
