Its product centers on an evidence-based medicine web portal that lets surgeons, sales reps and nurses input data to streamline workflow. The company is focused on an orthopedic application that aims to produce a dynamic "report card" summarizing an entire episode of care, including patient outcomes, surgical notes and emailed communications. InVivoLink raised $1.9 million in an equity financing described as the second wave of an initial funding promise. The company plans to use the proceeds to hire new staff and continue development of the orthopedic application. CEO Ryan Wells said the tranche will kick in after the company achieves certain milestones.
