Overview
IPG delivers Device Benefit Management™ solutions and an award-winning analytics platform for implantable procedures, offering a customized, data-driven approach for health plans. It provides end-to-end solutions to manage surgical and implant costs and increase transparency across the care transaction. IPG focuses on large, device-intensive markets such as cardiology, neurology, orthopedic and spine and partners with the top five leading health plans. The company aims to address price variability, high markups, and utilization trends by extending involvement in device selection to materially impact related costs. IPG is investing in infrastructure and new products to support a growing health plan client base and to bring additional products to market more quickly. Financially, IPG reported a 66% revenue increase year-over-year and has recently obtained new financing to support continued growth. IPG is the leading nationwide provider of Implantable Device Benefit Management (DBM) solutions, delivering end-to-end implant management and predictive analytics. Its core product is a SaaS implant management platform, IPG PathFinder 360, which provides cost and quality transparency for implantable surgical procedures. The company operates a proprietary DBM model that works directly with health plans, providers, facilities, and device manufacturers to streamline device management and improve cost, quality, and safety. IPG will use the $10M Series C to drive growth and product development around its implant management platform and award-winning SaaS solutions. The financing brings the company’s cumulative private equity investments to $50M and validates its business model. In January IPG moved its corporate headquarters to a new 23,000+ square foot office in Alpharetta, Georgia, its sixth office expansion since 2004.
