Iristick
Lamorinièrestraat 123/102, Antwerpen, 2018, Belgium
Overview
Iristick develops industrial and medical smart glasses used for remote assistance, inspection and tailored solutions in partnership with major corporations. Since its 2015 founding the company's devices are used by more than 700 companies across Europe and the US, including Bayer, Siemens Energy, JBT, Houston Methodist Hospital, HG Molenaar and Aviapartner. Iristick partnered with ECOM (a Pepperl+Fuchs subsidiary) to develop Visor-Ex glasses for harsh and potentially hazardous environments common in oil & gas. The company runs large-scale proof-of-concept projects expected to accelerate adoption in 2023–2024 and supports telemedicine projects in developing countries through its Social In Motion initiative. Iristick announced a €4 million capital increase led by Saffelberg Investments to fund end-to-end solutions in healthcare, energy and logistics. Planned follow-on investments include platform development, user adoption and sales & marketing in Europe and the United States, and the company appointed Karel Goderis to lead this expansion in cooperation with the existing management team.
