Led by CEO David Cook, Radian Arc intends to use new funding to expand its global reach and enhance its platform. The company will continue development of its cloud-based solutions to support carrier deployments and advanced workloads.

Iristick develops industrial and medical smart glasses used for remote assistance, inspection and tailored solutions in partnership with major corporations. Since its 2015 founding the company's devices are used by more than 700 companies across Europe and the US, including Bayer, Siemens Energy, JBT, Houston Methodist Hospital, HG Molenaar and Aviapartner. Iristick partnered with ECOM (a Pepperl+Fuchs subsidiary) to develop Visor-Ex glasses for harsh and potentially hazardous environments common in oil & gas. The company runs large-scale proof-of-concept projects expected to accelerate adoption in 2023–2024 and supports telemedicine projects in developing countries through its Social In Motion initiative. Iristick announced a €4 million capital increase led by Saffelberg Investments to fund end-to-end solutions in healthcare, energy and logistics. Planned follow-on investments include platform development, user adoption and sales & marketing in Europe and the United States, and the company appointed Karel Goderis to lead this expansion in cooperation with the existing management team.

Tangent Works is a Brussels-based AI company founded in 2014 that offers automated machine-learning and time-series predictive analytics. Its core product, Tangent Information Modeler (TIM), automatically builds predictive models for forecasting and anomaly detection using Instant Machine Learning (InstantML) technology. TIM is designed to help companies leverage their data at scale and lower the cost of deploying predictive models. The company serves customers including SIEMENS and operates across utilities, logistics, banking, and industrial sectors. In December 2022 Tangent Works raised €4.0M in a Series A round to accelerate its global expansion. As part of the round, Leon Cappaert from SFPIM will join the board of directors. Tangent Works is a Belgian-Slovak data science startup that automates the repetitive, manual parts of a data scientist’s work by building predictive models. Its algorithm generates predictive modelling based on the mathematical concept of information geometry. The platform is intended to let data scientists focus on which data to feed into models and how to act on the outputs rather than on model construction. Founded in 2013 in Bratislava and now based in Gooik, the company started in the energy sector and has expanded to serve customers including Microsoft and Amazon. In 2017 the team raised €1 million from Saffelberg, the investment fund of entrepreneur Jos Sluys. The new capital will be used to drive international expansion.

Its MicroStores platform lets businesses set up MicroStores in under 15 minutes and accelerates the design process using placeholder elements, embellishment tools and 3D visualization. The platform’s design tools use a point‑and‑click, drag‑and‑drop interface to quickly embellish products and enhance images. Brikl focuses on custom wear and sportswear, promotional and workwear, and supplier markets. The company has offices in Europe, the US and Thailand. Following an additional investment from Saffelberg Investments, Brikl plans to add substantial headcount to its internal sales and marketing teams, expand its presence in the US, and continue platform innovation. Brikl is a hybrid platform that combines 3D design software, on-demand production and ecommerce to enable creation and sale of custom designs for complex 3D forms. Using a point-and-click interface, users can decorate packaging, clothing, housewares and other physical shapes with colors, graphics, text, logos and images, then export print-ready files. The platform also allows rapid setup of online microsites to sell those creations. Brikl serves sports and team wear brands including Zoot Sports, Garneau, Eliel, Wattie Ink, Warrix and Vermarc Sport. Founded in 2017 and based in Leuven, Belgium, the company employs people across Belgium, the United States, Thailand, Germany and Mexico. It secured $2.4M in growth funding to enhance its software suite for the sports and team wear industry and to expand into packaging and consumer goods sectors.

Its development strategy is focused on the US FDA 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway, targeting molecules with established safety and efficacy. Product and candidate areas include IV Cardiovascular, other reformulations, and established-market high-barrier generics. The company has two commercial-stage products: Sotalol IV for atrial fibrillation (partnered with AltaThera) and Maxigesic® IV, a non-opioid analgesic co-owned with AFT Pharmaceuticals. Hyloris also has 12 product candidates at various stages of development. In April 2020 Hyloris raised €15m in funding from investors including Scorpiaux, Noshaq, Saffelberg Investments and Nomainvest. The proceeds will support execution of its development and commercialization strategy to bring improved products to market.
