iSites is a service that enables web publishers to rapidly create native iPhone and Android apps as well as mobile web-optimized apps. The company launched in January and today introduced Instant App, an HTML5-based product that promises native-like transitions and user experience. iSites handles app submission to the App Store and Android Market and provides analytics on app performance. Publishers can pull in RSS and Twitter feeds, add logos and graphics, distribute apps via vanity URLs, and monetize through mobile ads. The mobile web service is priced at $10 per month or $100 per year, while native app creation costs $50. iSites raised $1 million in funding to support the business and product rollout.
