Overview

Inventus Capital Partners is an investment firm that provides financial services to start-ups, entrepreneurs, and founders. The GPs have backed nearly 90 Founders to date, typically at the Seed or early-Series A stage, and invest with high conviction behind a very select number of new teams each year. Over the past 10 years, Inventus has helped Silicon Valley founders grow from early-stage startups into meaningful companies with aggregate annual sales of over $1 billion today. Notable Inventus companies include Poshmark in the $330 billion fashion industry, Credit Sesame in the $500 billion consumer credit & finance markets, and Sierra Atlantic in the $100 billion outsourced product development industry. Investment themes include online consumer marketplaces and business automation software, but the Inventus GPs are particularly interested in backing Founders with a unique and often surprising vision for re-ordering industries and re-inventing consumer experiences for the digital age. While we make investments of conviction to lead financings and apply our own operating successes to coach Founders on strategy, hiring, and growth hacking, we’ve also institutionalized the persistent delivery of high-impact customer and partner introductions via CXOBridge. Inventus co-founded and catalyzed CXOBridge in 2016 with the goal of helping participating startups grow revenue 10x in 2years by matching them with decision-makers at Fortune1000 customers and partners. CXOBridge is an independent organization with a full-time team applying a merit-based approach to selecting startups that solve high-priority problems for the program’s Fortune-1000 participants. To date, 46 startups and 300+ corporates are active in the program, resulting in over $300m of value creation so far. CXOBridge provides startups persistent help with revenue growth and sales traction at scale and is the latest example of the unique capabilities of our firm.

    Participated · Series A · Aug 2026

Pinegap builds custom AI agents that automate daily workflows for institutional buy-side analysts, delivering push-based outputs on schedules or triggered by market events. The platform works directly with fund teams to tune agents to each fund’s private data, output formats, and investment style, serving hedge funds, long-only mutual funds, and registered investment advisors. Founded in 2024 by Ankit Varmani and Deepak Sharma, Pinegap is headquartered in New York with a technology centre in Bengaluru. The company has deployed more than 1,000 agents across over 100 institutional clients and generates upwards of 50,000 research reports per month. Following an $8M Series A, Pinegap plans to expand its engineering team and create an in-house team of former equity research analysts while accelerating go-to-market and sales activities. Pinegap emphasizes that its platform is distinct from chatbots or search tools by being built around fund workflows and delivering outputs in analysts’ inboxes.

  • Mercately

    Led · Seed · Aug 2024

Mercately provides backend infrastructure that lets brands sell on WhatsApp by integrating with payment and CRM tools (Stripe, HubSpot) and using AI agents to handle customer communication, inventory checks, payments and purchase orders without leaving the app. The company launched in 2022 and now serves more than 1,000 companies across 20 countries. Mercately is profitable and has surpassed $1.5 million in annual revenue, and has been growing roughly 3.5x year-over-year. Its product targets the widespread consumer behavior in Latin America of using WhatsApp for commerce, and the startup integrates with existing platforms to simplify sellers’ workflows. Future plans cited by management include hiring additional AI engineers to improve chatbots and expanding Mercately’s presence in Brazil and the U.S., where it already operates but lacks strong market share.

  • Flam

    Participated · Series A · May 2024

Flam provides a GenAI-powered platform that lets brands launch interactive content via QR codes or links across Digital, Broadcast TV, Mass Media, Retail, OOH, packaging and messaging without requiring an app. One scan or click immerses consumers in branded experiences that can showcase products, tell stories, or add layers to a brand. The company is led by CTO Amit Gaiki and founders Shourya Agarwal and Malhar Patil. Flam targets Fortune 500 brands and aims to move customers from pilot projects to rapid global roll-out. It plans to use the Series A proceeds to expand its partner program for creative studios and global platforms. The company has raised a total of $22M to date. Flam serves major global brands including Britannia, Netflix, Wargaming, AJIO, Heeramandi, WPP, and Indian politician Shashi Tharoor. Its technology touts the fastest image recognition and top-tier tracking powered by AI, and provides marketers with redirection buttons, user journey tracking, and comprehensive analytics. Flam plans to expand into key international markets including North America, Europe, and the MENA region following its recent fundraise. Flam builds an AR-first social network centered on its flagship product, FlamCards, which plays real-time video on printed images (video-on-print). The company has developed a proprietary AR algorithm that addresses recognition, augmentation, and tracking, can create one FlamCard in under 60 seconds, and can dispatch more than a million FlamCards per day. Flam charges for printed FlamCards starting from Rs 320 and reports 40 million camera interactions and scans since launching in May. With a team of 22, the startup is building a next-gen AR engine for global cloud scalability and adding privacy controls and features such as Flam Rewards, FlamStories, FlamGhost, and 3D filters. The founders plan to use the funding to launch new social-network features on top of FlamCard and to hire engineers across computer vision, graphics, GPS mapping, social product, growth, and 3D design.
