Overview
Isorg develops organic and printed large-area photodetectors and image sensors designed for integration into varied shapes and form factors. Its imagers target applications in medical devices, ID security and access control, IoT and consumer electronics. In 2016 the company demonstrated a large-sized, high-resolution (500 dpi) flexible plastic fingerprint sensor. The company plans to launch commercial availability of its organic photodiode technology to serve the security market and enable multiple-fingerprint scanner integrations. It will also deploy a global sales and applications engineering workforce and transform operations to support full industrialization. Isorg has raised €47.8M to date and recently completed a €16M Series C. Isorg develops organic and printed electronics that convert plastic and glass substrates into “smart surfaces” with sensing capabilities, focusing on large-area photo-detectors and flexible image sensors. Its sensors are used by customers in medical and security industries, as well as in IoT and consumer electronics and biometric-device manufacturing. The company says it is moving toward large-scale commercialization of its image sensors and other printed-electronics solutions. Isorg was founded in 2010 and is based in France. In the latest financing it raised €24 million, and the company has now raised a total of more than €33 million to date.
