Italian Artisan operates a marketplace that connects global brands, providers and merchants to make and trade “Made in Italy” fashion products. The platform hosts over 11,000 international brands and has commercial partnerships with more than 700 manufacturers. Led by David Clementoni and Olga Iarussi, the company is based in Milan and has a team of 20. It closed a €1.3M seed funding round to support growth. The company plans to use the funds to extend its community of Italian manufacturers and broaden its roster of international clients. Management also intends to invest in marketing—focusing on North America and Europe—and to strengthen the sales team.
