  • Archimede

    Led · Seed · Jun 2026

Founded in 2024 and based in Syracuse, Archimede has developed ArchMesh, a modular kit that integrates predictive energy management, multi-constellation satellite connectivity and a low-code software platform for bidirectional control of distributed facilities in off-grid environments. The solution targets industries including agriculture, oil and gas, logistics, public infrastructure and defence, aiming to enable operational continuity where power and terrestrial connectivity are unreliable. Archimede plans to release an open-source version of its stack to lower adoption barriers and enable third-party vertical applications. The company has initiated projects with major enterprise operators, including a proof-of-concept with Eni Joule to test ArchMesh for industrial asset monitoring in limited-connectivity areas. Its product roadmap focuses on product industrialisation, enterprise pilots and international expansion to scale ArchMesh into a platform for remote infrastructure management.

  • Quantum Bridge Technologies

    Led · Series A · May 2026

Founded in 2019 by Mattia Montagna and Hoi-Kwong Lo out of a leading quantum security research group, Quantum Bridge Technologies develops quantum-safe cryptographic solutions centered on its patented Distributed Symmetric Key Establishment (DSKE) protocol. The DSKE protocol enables organisations to generate, distribute, and manage symmetric keys via a decentralized architecture that aims to remove single points of failure, improve scalability, and strengthen long-term cryptographic resilience. The company’s platform is designed to work across existing infrastructure, vendors, and security layers, allowing customers to add quantum-safe protection from optical encryptors to application-level systems without disrupting operations. Quantum Bridge positions its technology as practical and deployable today to address the systemic threat posed by emerging quantum computing. The company has raised a total of $16 million to date, including the recent $8 million Series A, and plans to use the new capital to accelerate global adoption and expand customer deployments.

  • Mirai Robotics

    Led · Seed · Mar 2026

Italy-based Mirai Robotics is building robotic infrastructure that makes maritime environments safer, more observable and less dependent on human crews. The startup integrates autonomous surface vehicles, advanced sensing, artificial intelligence and control software to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) as well as coastal and offshore patrolling. It has already produced two proprietary autonomous vehicles that can operate individually or as part of a distributed fleet, and the company also licenses its autonomy, navigation and control stack for third-party vessels, following a dual-use-by-design approach for both civil and institutional customers. Founded by Luciano Belviso (CEO), Luca Mascaro (CPTO) and Davide Dattoli, the team combines experience in aerospace manufacturing, digital product design and European tech scaling. Capital from its recent round will accelerate technology development, expand headcount and fund pilot projects with industrial and governmental partners. No operating metrics such as revenue or fleet size have been disclosed to date.

  • RARA Factory

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2026

Founded in 2024 by four Ca’ Foscari University professors, Rara Factory has built a proprietary platform that merges artificial intelligence with large-scale experimental materials physics. The system enables the synthesis and characterisation of more than one hundred new compounds a day and has already generated and tested nearly 10,000 novel materials. This capability produces a unique, rapidly expanding dataset aimed at solving critical raw-material shortages in energy, mobility and aerospace industries. The company has landed its first commercial contract and forged collaboration agreements with leading Italian and international corporates. Participation in the 2024 Motor Valley Accelerator further validated its technology and market potential. Backed by a €3.2 million seed round, Rara Factory plans to invest in advanced laboratory infrastructure and instrumentation to broaden its high-throughput experimental capacity. The ultimate goal is to compress material discovery cycles from years to days, enabling faster industrial implementation and reduced dependence on rare earths.

  • Bricks.sh

    Led · Seed · Jan 2026

Bricks.sh provides developers with an automated way to create and upkeep internal tools, specifically admin panels, by simply connecting existing APIs and databases to its AI engine. The system instantly generates a user-ready interface that serves both technical and non-technical stakeholders, eliminating the usual trade-off between speed and customisation. Its AI continually monitors underlying data sources, so any new fields, tables, or endpoints are reflected in real time without manual intervention, cutting both development and maintenance time. The company launched its public beta alongside the fundraise, signalling product readiness for wider adoption. CEO and founder Dario Di Carlo emphasises that Bricks.sh targets the large share of engineering hours spent on non-revenue-generating internal tooling. By accelerating tool creation, the platform aims to boost developer productivity and improve operational efficiency across organisations. The newly raised capital will be channelled into expanding the core team and further advancing the product roadmap.
