IVO Systems is a construction operations platform purpose-built in 2019 by Eric Christensen and Bob Lien to close the information gap between the field and office. Its IVO Modules include equipment tracking and dispatching, aggregating telematics data, employee scheduling, preventative maintenance and work orders, custom equipment inspection forms, and equipment rental management. The founders drew on more than 30 years of combined construction experience to create easy-to-use software designed specifically for construction operations rather than estimating- or accounting-first tools. The company is used by customers such as Midwest Mole, Iowa Trenchless, Bore Master, and New Berlin Grading. Customers report operational improvements after adopting the platform; New Berlin Grading described it as a ‘‘lifesaver’’ that changed what they can accomplish. With new capital, IVO plans product enhancements and hires in marketing, sales, and software development.
