Dirac Labs is developing navigation technologies aimed at enabling positioning and access beneath the Earth's surface and underwater. The company intends to apply its recent pre-seed funding to accelerate development and deployment of those systems to operate where GPS does not reach. Dirac has supplemented venture backing with public grants and accelerator support from NOAA via gener8tor, the Mercatus Center, the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum, and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Avant Genomics builds the Avant Source™ platform to automate extraction and preparation of tumor-derived cell-free DNA from blood samples for liquid biopsy workflows. The system reduces manual handling from more than 50 steps to two, improves DNA yield by as much as 70% versus semi-automated tools, and cuts processing time in half. The company holds exclusive IP developed at the University of Virginia and was founded as a UVA spin-out by CEO Rachelle Turiello, PhD, and COO Renna Nouwairi, PhD. Avant has received NSF SBIR Phase I funding and been named a 2025 Startup World Cup Regional Finalist, and its team includes advisors and operators with exits to companies such as Quest Diagnostics, Labcorp, and Eli Lilly. Ateios Systems develops RaiCure™, a curing technology for lithium-ion battery electrodes that replaces slow, energy-intensive thermal curing and avoids PFAs. The RaiCure technology was developed in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The company aims to scale its electrode production and supply battery manufacturers at commercial scale by embedding its solution into existing production lines. Founded in 2023 by former CIA officer Ryan Joyce, GenLogs has built an AI-driven Truck Intelligence platform that aggregates trillions of data points from roadside cameras, satellite feeds, and other sources to map the real-time movements of commercial trucks across the United States. A three-step privacy filter deletes private-vehicle footage, screens for USDOT numbers, and blurs windows, allowing the system to focus solely on commercial freight while remaining compliant with privacy standards. The data is analyzed to verify carrier authenticity, reduce fraud, and combat the $35 billion annual problem of cargo theft. Shippers, logistics providers, insurers, financial institutions, and government agencies use the platform for carrier sourcing, underwriting, and oversight; current customers include J.B. Hunt, Werner Enterprises, AIPSO, and the Jacksonville Port Authority. The technology has also assisted federal and state law-enforcement agencies in cases involving sex trafficking and narcotics smuggling. GenLogs plans to use fresh capital to expand its sensor network and enhance its AI capabilities for broader industry adoption. The company has raised a total of $81 million to date but has not disclosed revenue or headcount figures.

CubeNexus builds AI-powered infrastructure that structures 3D, spatiotemporal sensor data through its CubeNexus Decision Intelligence Suite, enabling users to query multi-modal sensor datasets with LLMs and visualize results via digital twin interfaces. The flagship software unifies surface, subsurface, and aerial data into a single 4D view for analysts and operations engineers. Co‑founded by CEO Steven Brandt and CTO Adam Gobbo, the team emphasizes reliable, deterministic spatial interactions between datasets.
