Jinying Technology (金影科技) is a Beijing company founded by former Shanda Literature CEO Hou Xiaoqiang that focuses on mobile internet and the cultural/entertainment industries. The firm operates end-to-end IP incubation and development across reading, film, games, animation, publishing and audio, with two core products: Huoxing Novel and the Duyao public account. Huoxing Novel holds nearly 10,000 full-copyright works across multiple genres, hosts over 3,000 authors, has licensed hundreds of copyrights and maintains deep partnerships with iQiyi, Youku and Tencent; the platform reports nearly 10 million active users. The Duyao public account targets the film/TV sector, grew to a million-plus audience since June last year, posts monthly traffic above 2.7 million and has accumulated nearly one billion total reads; its traffic matrix covers about 50 million people. Management plans to incubate new genres, cultivate new authors, expand channels and produce hundreds of mainstream IP—aiming to be a community-driven "Marvel" and a leading platform for web literature 2.0. Following the close of the B+ round, the company says it will accelerate its strategy and launch a series of action plans.
