Jota provides a conversational assistant that helps entrepreneurs manage finances by understanding text, audio and photos within WhatsApp and its own app. The product automates categorization of expenses, controls payments, records receivables, issues reminders, and produces proactive financial insights. With the launch of Jota 2.0 the company moved from a reactive responder to an agent that anticipates needs, reporting engagement up to five times that of the prior version in tests. Since its seed round the company has grown to about 300,000 customers and approximately R$3.5 billion in annualized transacted volume. Jota plans to use proceeds from its Series A to accelerate AI infrastructure development and expand assistant functionalities, including studying contextual credit offerings at the moment customers need liquidity.
