Overview
Joya builds mobile video communication apps, including Joya Video, Cleo and FlipLip, which add voices, overlays and live filters for creating short video clips. The apps were featured in a Facebook Messenger announcement and are available in the App Store and Google Play. The company was founded in 2012 by Michal and Vlada Bortnik and operated in stealth for more than a year. Joya recently participated in StartX, the Stanford-affiliated accelerator program.
