Altos Ventures was founded in 1996 to invest in early-stage technology companies. After starting with $30 million in committed capital, they currently manage more than $8 billion in regulatory assets under management, supporting the full lifecycle of companies from inception to global growth and profitability. They have been the first and lead institutional investor in 100+ companies around the world. They invest in both consumer and enterprise tech companies, with a particular interest in enterprise SaaS, FinTech, e-commerce, and consumer brands and services. They look to invest in high-growth, capital-efficient, founder-led companies. Initial investments can start as small as $500,000 while our follow-on investments can exceed $100 million in a single round, purchasing both primary and secondary shares.

    Quartr positions itself as the leading first-party data layer for institutional finance and AI, specializing in structured, real-time coverage of public company events. Its products include Quartr Pro, an AI research platform used by hedge funds, asset managers, equity researchers, and IR professionals, and Quartr API, which serves as a data backbone for builders. The company serves more than 800 financial institutions and technology companies worldwide. Quartr reported triple-digit growth and strong unit economics, including Net Revenue Retention around 120%. With the new capital, Quartr plans to accelerate product development and expand its coverage further. The company highlighted Altos Ventures becoming its largest shareholder following the round.

  • WERT

    Founded in 2015 by Yun Jeong-ho, WERT INTELLIGENCE develops AI solutions for the intellectual property market and created a patent-specialized large language model called PlutoLM trained on 170 million global patents. Its product suite includes Keywert, Keywert Insight, specification and custom IP AI agents, plus data and consulting lines WERT Datagrid, Signal, Decision, and Intelligence Analysis, totaling eight products. The company says its services are used at about 3,000 sites including major corporate IP centers, R&D departments, and institutions in Korea. WERT positions itself as a Korean alternative to established global IP solution providers and aims to expand its domain AI offerings into global markets. The company launched its first AI patent search service, Keywert, in 2016 and has focused on IP AI development for nearly a decade.

    Founded in 2021 and based in South Korea, Versework operates as a Roblox UGC game studio and an accelerator for regional creators. Its flagship title, Sols RNG, has surpassed 2 billion cumulative plays and ranks among the global top Roblox titles. The company reported approximately $7.3 million in revenue and positive operating income in 2025. Versework's pipeline includes a Roblox adaptation of CookieRun: Braverse TCG and a collaborative project with creator GH's (27 million subscribers). It runs a proprietary incubator track that provides design mentorship, global publishing infrastructure, and residential support to emerging developers. Versework expects steep revenue acceleration in the second half of 2026, citing Roblox's DevEx rate increase for age-verified US creators as a key monetization tailwind.

    Unastella develops kerosene/liquid-oxygen launch vehicles and engines, using an electric motor pump architecture, and focuses initially on small-satellite launch services. The company launched its UNA EXPRESS-I from South Korean soil in May 2025 as an end-to-end test of its system and is targeting UNA EXPRESS-II later in the year with a goal of reaching 100 kilometers. Unastella handles design, manufacturing, ground operations, and flight data in-house and employs about 22 people. The founder and CEO, Jae Park, has prior experience on Korea’s Nuri rocket and at the German Aerospace Center. The company is not yet generating revenue and says its near-term priority is validating technology and business viability through orbital launches, with crewed suborbital flight as a longer-term ambition. Total funding now stands at $44 million following the Series B.

  • Squid

    Squid operates a connected multi-chain platform that reaches ecosystems without contracts, including Bitcoin and XRPL, and supports more than 100 networks. Its execution layer, Squid Intents, routes cross-chain transactions to market makers for fulfillment and settles them using Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) rather than deploying contracts on every chain. The platform supports over 20,000 tokens across major ecosystems and has facilitated more than $6B in lifetime volume since its January 2023 launch. Squid plans to use the new funding to accelerate expansion into consumer products. The company is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland.
