Lückstraße 56, Berlin, 10317, Germany
Overview
JUCR operates what it brands as Europe’s densest charging network and offers access to 333,000 charging points via a single €29.99/month subscription through its smartphone app, which includes maps. The company develops both charging hardware and software, including the JUCR Charge Point Protocol that supports features like bidirectional charging, plug-in-charge and over-the-air updates. JUCR says its internal R&D will produce easy-installation charging points and reduce production overheads while scaling its network. The founding team includes Richard Birich, Max Grollmann and Lukas Puls; hardware lead Lukas Puls is a former Stiebel Eltron electrical engineer with IoT product experience. JUCR plans to deliver at least 100,000 charging stations using its internal technology by 2025. The company recently closed a financing package that is intended to accelerate software and hardware engineering on its proprietary EV charging technology.
