Jungle is building For The Win (FTW), a mobile first-person shooter described as a speedy, team-based hero shooter that is currently in early alpha testing in South America. FTW attracted over 100,000 downloads in its first month of availability in that region. Jungle plans to use the Solana blockchain to implement player rewards based on in-game performance to incentivize user acquisition and benefit power users, citing Solana's speed and user experience as key factors. The team said it is interested in launching FTW on Solana's next smartphone, tentatively called Chapter 2, which is due for release in 2025. The company announced a $6 million seed funding round in early 2023, co-led by Bitkraft Ventures and Framework Ventures, with participation from Delphi Digital, 32bit Ventures, Karatage, Stateless Ventures, and others. CEO Joao Beraldo said the decision to build on Solana reflects a priority to deliver the best possible experience to users and highlighted the chain's post–bear-market growth and ecosystem opportunities.
