Its software has already been implemented in more than a million devices. The company has strategic partnerships with leading players in the consumer electronics and automotive sectors. Kardome recently opened a regional headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Led by CEO Dani Cherkassky, the company intends to use recent funding to improve its voice technology and advance ambient audio computing. The product focus is on deploying Spatial Hearing AI across consumer and automotive applications. Kardome develops voice-control technology that combines dedicated software with microphones embedded in products to implement a new generation of voice user interfaces. Its system is designed to operate in noisy, multi‑speaker environments such as vehicles, public buildings, restaurants and homes. The company is working on spatial isolation of voices to improve performance in challenging acoustic environments. Kardome plans to accelerate development of this innovative system, which is intended for use in Hyundai vehicles and robots worldwide. The investment announced will support increasing manpower, speeding product development and expanding the company’s global presence. The company was founded in January 2019 by Dani Cherkassky and Alon Slapak and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
