  • Kardome

    Participated · Series A · Nov 2024

Kardome offers patented spatial hearing technology that simultaneously enhances speech signals from multiple speakers in real time and isolates target speech to provide voice experiences akin to face-to-face conversations. Its software has already been implemented in more than a million devices. The company has strategic partnerships with leading players in the consumer electronics and automotive sectors. Kardome recently opened a regional headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Led by CEO Dani Cherkassky, the company intends to use recent funding to improve its voice technology and advance ambient audio computing. The product focus is on deploying Spatial Hearing AI across consumer and automotive applications. Kardome develops voice-control technology that combines dedicated software with microphones embedded in products to implement a new generation of voice user interfaces. Its system is designed to operate in noisy, multi‑speaker environments such as vehicles, public buildings, restaurants and homes. The company is working on spatial isolation of voices to improve performance in challenging acoustic environments. Kardome plans to accelerate development of this innovative system, which is intended for use in Hyundai vehicles and robots worldwide. The investment announced will support increasing manpower, speeding product development and expanding the company’s global presence. The company was founded in January 2019 by Dani Cherkassky and Alon Slapak and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

  • Lidwave

    Led · Seed · Oct 2024

Lidwave develops 4D LiDAR-on-chip sensors built around its proprietary Finite Coherent Ranging (FCR™) technology, integrating lasers, amplifiers, receivers and optical routing onto a single chip. The company’s coherent sensing method provides pixel-level Doppler (velocity) data alongside depth information. Lidwave plans to further develop its optical chip and launch what it calls the industry’s first software-definable 4D LiDAR sensor. The technology is positioned to reduce the cost, complexity, and reliability issues associated with legacy LiDAR systems. Lidwave is collaborating with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, and major players in industrial automation and smart infrastructure to drive adoption. The company says it will seek additional partnerships to scale production and extend its technology across industries to improve safety and automation.

  • Clearly.Earth

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2024

Clearly offers an AI-driven climate intelligence platform aimed at transport fleet operators and logistics companies. The platform ingests anonymized customer data — GPS, vehicle movement and performance, IoT data, load weight and more — to produce emission-related insights and driver-facing nudges (for example prompting a driver to adjust tire pressure). Its dashboard and app deliver alerts and operational recommendations intended to cut fuel use and help fleets meet regulatory emissions targets. Clearly tracks over 100 million trips from clients and counts blue-chip customers such as Webfleet and Bridgestone’s fleet management solution. The company argues driving behavior can influence as much as 30% of fuel consumption and positions its product to save operators money while reducing CO2. Founded in 2021, Clearly plans to scale its product and capture a meaningful share of the large transport decarbonization market.

  • Magnus Metal

    Participated · Series B · Apr 2024

Magnus Metal has developed a "digital casting" process that slices designs into layers and creates ceramic forms 4–20 mm thick into which molten metal is dripped and built up layer by layer. Each new layer melts the previous one to bond material and allow impurities to float out, yielding parts the company says have fewer defects and are 10%–20% stronger than traditionally cast parts. The system is positioned as faster than 3D printing, able to use customer-specified materials, and its ceramic bases can be reused for a finite number of parts. Magnus says the approach removes the need for expensive tooling used in sand casting, making lower-volume, complex parts more cost-effective while acknowledging simple parts will still favor sand casting. The company plans to sell both machines and proprietary ceramic feedstock, targeting $500,000 to $1 million of recurring revenue per machine. Magnus Metal has raised a $74 million Series B to support industrialization this year and to begin beta testing at the start of next year.
