Karmen
112 Avenue de Paris, Vincennes, Ile-de-France, 94306, France
Overview
Karmen offers a 100 % digital platform that underwrites short-term loans and working-capital advances to French TPE and PME (small and medium-sized businesses) within 48 hours by connecting in read-only mode to the borrower’s bank account and analysing recent cash-flow data. Its product suite now includes Karmen Factor, an invoice-financing tool that allows companies to fund invoices without formally assigning receivables, and an embedded-finance API branded “Capital as a Service” that lets software vendors and regulated platforms integrate invoice financing directly into their products. Recent partnerships with Qonto and Tide make these funding tools available inside SME banking and management interfaces. Following its Q4 2025 acquisition of Silvr, an historic BFR financier, Karmen has absorbed new portfolios and expertise, strengthening its position in a consolidating alternative-lending market. The company can now issue tickets from €20k to €3 m with maturities of 2–24 months, adapted to the tighter macro environment. Since launch, it has financed several thousand businesses, positioning itself as a leading non-bank working-capital provider in France. The additional debt capacity announced in January 2026 gives Karmen room to expand ticket sizes, enter new sectors, and accelerate its embedded-finance roadmap.
