Karo Sambhav

Gurgaon, Haryana, India, Asia

Overview

Karo Sambhav operates recycling facilities and collection networks to recover materials from e-waste, batteries, glass, and other end-of-life streams. The company says it has channelised over 150,000 metric tonnes of waste for recycling and has collection networks in more than 50 cities, working with over 50 corporations including Apple, Dell Technologies, Cisco, and Canon. It also partners with development organizations such as the German Agency for International Cooperation, IFC, and the International Labour Organization to help formalise India's informal recycling ecosystem. Founded in 2017 and based in Gurugram, Karo Sambhav plans to expand its recycling infrastructure, prioritising e-waste due to its high concentration of valuable metals and components while building capacity for adjacent waste streams. The company’s proposed facility has received Eligibility Status under the Incentive Scheme for Promotion of Critical Mineral Recycling under the National Critical Minerals Mission, and it raised Rs 56 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha to support these plans.
