Overview
Kestra Technologies builds Kestra, an open-source orchestration control plane designed to unify data pipelines, AI workflows, infrastructure automation and business processes across hybrid and air-gapped environments. Founded in 2021 by Emmanuel Darras and Ludovic Dehon, the platform is used by more than 30,000 organizations and recorded over 2 billion workflow executions in 2025, while earning 26,000+ GitHub stars. Since its seed round 18 months ago the company says enterprise revenue grew 25× and adoption expanded at large enterprises including Apple, Toyota, JPMorgan Chase, BHP and Crédit Agricole. Kestra offers a plugin ecosystem (1,200+ plugins) and emphasizes declarative, extensible orchestration for mission-critical use cases. The company plans to ship Kestra 2.0—a distributed execution engine with real-time observability and native agentic orchestration—and launch Kestra Cloud, a fully managed SaaS with usage-based pricing, while expanding go-to-market and open-source investments.
