Ketch provides a data control platform for programmatic privacy, governance and security that automates data control and consent management so consumer privacy preferences are honored and implemented. In 2020 the company introduced the platform and this year launched Ketch OTC, a free-to-use privacy tool that streamlines enterprise compliance programs. Ketch says customer growth through OTC increased fivefold in six months and its overall customer base grew more than 300% since its March Series A announcement. Qonsent is using Ketch’s APIs and infrastructure, demonstrating early integrations with consent UX providers. Ketch plans to use the new funding to expand its sales and go-to-market teams as it builds out products that embed security and governance rules with individual pieces of data. The company emphasizes bringing security to data at a granular level (down to individual cells and rows) to enable deletions and other privacy controls. Ketch provides a configurable consent-management and orchestration platform that automates privacy and data-compliance workflows across a company’s existing marketing and customer-data tools. The product executes customer requests across multiple platforms—ensuring unsubscribes stop emails and delete requests propagate to partners—rather than relying on superficial privacy banners. Ketch is designed to let customers configure compliance by jurisdiction so businesses need not apply the strictest rules globally. The company offers a free PrivacyGrader tool and is coming out of stealth while preparing paid products for businesses. Patreon’s legal counsel said Ketch was easily configurable and required minimal engineering to deploy internationally. Ketch has raised $23M in Series A financing to support product rollout and growth.
