KFactory is a Romanian Industry 4.0 company founded in 2017 by Vlad Cazan and Adrian Dima that delivers 'cognitive manufacturing' via SaaS. Its flagship product is a Team of Virtual Engineers (VEs) — modular SaaS solutions for Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial efficiency. In September the company added a Green VE to help factories monitor and reduce carbon emissions in line with the EU Fit for 55 programme. KFactory says its VE suite can apply to any facilities that consume resources and emit carbon, though it currently focuses on factories. The company grew its number of customers by 500% in 2021 and plans further product development, including an e-learning platform soon to be launched in English, German and Romanian. KFactory intends to expand geographically into the DACH region and hire sales, development and German customer-success teams while broadening its offering into logistics, retail, construction and field services.
