Kingdom Supercultures designs and supplies a new class of natural ingredients called Supercultures, composed entirely of microbial strains found naturally in food that are rearranged into new combinations with new functionalities. Manufacturers use these Supercultures to create plant-based yogurts and cheeses, lower-alcohol wines and beers with full flavor, and personal care products without artificial chemicals. The company says its products aim to transform the consumer packaged goods industry by making it easier to create healthy and sustainable products. Kingdom plans to use the funds from its recent Series A to expand its scientific platform and R&D facilities. The company is led by CEO Kendall Dabaghi and is based in New York. It raised $25M in the Series A announced in May 2021.
