  • Osmo

    Participated · Series B · Feb 2026

Osmo is a digital scent design company that combines proprietary molecular data, machine learning, and human artistry to create and reproduce fragrances through its core platform, Olfactory Intelligence. Founded in 2022 by olfactory neuroscientist Alex Wiltschko as a spin-off from Google Brain, the firm has built the world’s largest structured scent data library and in 2024 demonstrated “Scent Teleportation,” the first full digitization of scent without human intervention. Its technology covers the entire product lifecycle—from formula creation to manufacturing and packaging—helping global consumer-product companies cut fragrance costs and speed time-to-market while giving emerging brands affordable access to custom scents. Beyond fragrance, Osmo plans to extend its olfaction capabilities into healthcare diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and other public-safety use cases. Recent executive hires from Unilever, Clorox, Givaudan, Tesla, and other majors signal a push to scale commercial, operational, and financial functions. The company has raised $130 million to date, providing the capital base to accelerate product development and market expansion.

  • Panthalassa

    Participated · Series A · Jul 2025

Panthalassa builds self-propelled, autonomous floating nodes that capture wave energy to generate continuous clean electricity and run AI inference computing onboard, transmitting results to land via low-Earth-orbit satellites. The company has spent about a decade developing its power generation, propulsion, autonomy, and at-sea computing technologies and demonstrated capabilities with Ocean-1, Ocean-2, and Wavehopper prototypes in 2021 and 2024. Panthalassa plans to deploy its Ocean-3 pilot node series in the northern Pacific in 2026 to demonstrate AI inference at sea and to refine manufacturing ahead of commercial deployments in 2027. The platform uses the ocean for free supercooling to extend chip lifetimes and avoids transmitting power to shore by performing computing onboard. The company is a public benefit corporation headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and recently raised $140 million in a Series B to complete a pilot manufacturing facility and accelerate initial deployments.

  • ElevenLabs

    Participated · Series C · Jan 2025

ElevenLabs builds AI voice models and provides voice-as-a-service offerings aimed at enterprise customers, including multilingual automation and in-network AI agent use cases. The company has secured enterprise contracts with customers such as Deutsche Telekom, Revolut, and Klarna. ElevenLabs reported rapid revenue growth, ending last year with nearly $350 million in ARR, adding $100 million in net new ARR in Q1 2026 to reach roughly $450 million, and later surpassing $500 million in ARR. Its valuation climbed from $6.6 billion in September to $11 billion in February. The startup recently acquired the team from Polish voice AI startup Papla to bolster its research capabilities. It has also completed a $100 million tender and is enabling retail investment via Robinhood Ventures as part of its fundraising activity.

  • Fastino

    Participated · Seed · Nov 2024

Fastino develops intentionally small, task-specific AI models that are trained using low-end gaming GPUs worth less than $100,000 in total. The company sells a suite of these models to enterprise customers for tasks such as redacting sensitive data and summarizing corporate documents. Fastino says its models are faster, more accurate on specific tasks, and far cheaper to train than flagship large models, with the ability to deliver an entire response in a single token in milliseconds. The startup has not disclosed early metrics or user counts but says early users are impressed with performance. Based in Palo Alto, Fastino is focused on hiring researchers at top AI labs who favor contrarian approaches to model design rather than trying to build the biggest models. The company recently raised $17.5 million in seed funding led by Khosla Ventures, bringing total funding to nearly $25 million. Fastino launched from stealth with a family of task-optimized language models engineered for enterprise use cases such as structuring textual data, RAG systems, text summarization, and task planning. The company says its architecture enables near-instant CPU inferencing and flexible deployment on CPUs or NPUs, reducing reliance on high-end GPUs and lowering energy consumption. Fastino claims its models are up to 1000x faster than traditional large language models and are designed to reduce hallucinations, adversarial vulnerability, and data-leakage risks. The product emphasis is on accuracy, speed, and safety for critical enterprise deployments. Fastino will use its announced funding to build an industry-leading research team, accelerate product development, and expand hiring from its Palo Alto headquarters. The company positions itself to help enterprises accelerate generative AI adoption by offering tunable, task-specific models.

  • Embedded Intelligence

    Led · Seed · Nov 2024

Embedded Intelligence is building the interface of record for consumers to interact with AI through an embedded tool called Highlight AI that sits locally on desktops to provide contextual assistance. Highlight AI is a capture-based interface that operates as a secure intermediary layer between OS outputs and an LLM, paired with a Prompt Library and an App Runtime for Web Apps. The product enables users to run prompts and existing web apps as native, context-aware assistants, making many prompts as powerful as apps and removing the need for separate interfaces to summarize calls or explain code. Inspired by Andrej Karpathy’s vision of an LLM OS, the company emphasizes native context and keeping humans in control of AI workflows. Highlight AI is designed to let users trigger powerful AI workflows irrespective of language and without prompt engineering. The company announced a $10 million seed round to support continued development and deployment of Highlight AI.
