Overview
Kivu Bioscience develops next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) using a proprietary Synaffix site-specific linker-payload platform and GlycoConnect™ technology. The platform couples linkers to asparagine-297 to produce highly homogeneous, stable ADCs that the company says reduce off-target toxicity and widen the therapeutic window. Kivu's assets are in late-stage preclinical studies, including a Topo1i-based ADC pipeline targeting solid tumors. The company plans to advance its first two lead candidates into Phase 1 trials in 2025 and to move multiple oncology programs into the clinic. Kivu is led by an experienced team headed by Mohit Trikha, Ph.D., and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA. The company closed a $92 million Series A to support clinical development across its ADC programs.
