Klassroom Edutech is an education startup. The company said it secured a USD 450K investment. The funding round was led by ah! Klassroom operates a hybrid tutoring model that streams live lectures from its in-house 'K-Studio' and pairs that content with an on-the-ground network of local coaching centers. The platform serves students in standards 6–12 and offers courses for IIT-JEE, NEET, CA, CS and other competitive exams, with plans to add new courses every month. Under its "Klassroom for Bharat" mission the company targets the mass market and aims to make high-quality learning accessible to middle- and low-income groups through attractive price points. Klassroom says it can flex between physical and online/live tutoring for urban students, allowing enrolled students to access both modes. Since its last fundraise in May 2021, monthly revenue has grown 5x. After COVID reopenings the company reactivated 120+ centers across Mumbai and Delhi in less than sixty days. Klassroom operates a hybrid tutoring model that delivers live interactive learning through a web-based platform and mobile application. Since its inception in 2016 it has built a partner network of 160+ brick-and-mortar centres across Mumbai and Delhi and a hybrid model that enables cross-selling between physical centres and online tutoring. Over the past 12 months, 10,000+ students across 500 cities, 22 states and 3 union territories have spent over a million hours on Klassroom’s online platform, which the company says has a reach of 5 million students. Klassroom offers live courses for ICSE, CBSE and state boards (classes 8–12), IIT-JEE, NEET, CA and other competitive exams, and targets the Rurban population with a focus on affordability, accessibility and accountability. The company plans to expand its partner network beyond Mumbai and Delhi post-pandemic and to launch online academic, test-prep and supplementary courses, including foreign language, technical, vocational and skill-enhancement offerings in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Klassroom has raised USD 200K in this Pre-Series A round to grow existing offerings, enhance technology and scale toward a stated goal of growing 10X by 2023.
