    Founded in 2020 by former venture capitalist Ajay Lakhotia, StockGro is building a full-stack, community-led ecosystem that helps users trade and invest more effectively through expert-driven insights and AI-powered research tools. The platform combines social engagement with market education, aiming to serve the rapidly expanding base of retail investors in India, whose demat accounts have grown from roughly 4 crore in 2020 to over 20 crore by 2025. StockGro plans to use new capital to expand geographically, deepen coverage across multiple asset classes, and bolster its advisory and research capabilities. To date, the company has secured about $90 million in combined equity and debt financing from investors such as SBI Ventures, Root Ventures, General Catalyst, Param Capital, and BITKRAFT Ventures. Financially, StockGro’s FY24 revenue from operations fell 34% year-over-year to ₹86.5 crore, while losses widened 84% to ₹101 crore. The company has not yet filed FY25 financials.

It has expanded its range with recent launches such as cornsticks and cream rolls and targets a ₹100 crore valuation. Skippi raised ₹10 crore in a Pre-Series A round and is in talks to raise an additional ₹7 crore. The company says the new capital will be used for brand building, marketing, working capital, new product development and hiring key leadership. Prior to this round, Skippi secured ₹1.2 crore for an 18% equity stake from investors on Shark Tank India.

Klassroom says it can flex between physical and online/live tutoring for urban students, allowing enrolled students to access both modes. Since its last fundraise in May 2021, monthly revenue has grown 5x. After COVID reopenings the company reactivated 120+ centers across Mumbai and Delhi in less than sixty days. Klassroom operates a hybrid tutoring model that delivers live interactive learning through a web-based platform and mobile application. Since its inception in 2016 it has built a partner network of 160+ brick-and-mortar centres across Mumbai and Delhi and a hybrid model that enables cross-selling between physical centres and online tutoring. Over the past 12 months, 10,000+ students across 500 cities, 22 states and 3 union territories have spent over a million hours on Klassroom’s online platform, which the company says has a reach of 5 million students. Klassroom offers live courses for ICSE, CBSE and state boards (classes 8–12), IIT-JEE, NEET, CA and other competitive exams, and targets the Rurban population with a focus on affordability, accessibility and accountability. The company plans to expand its partner network beyond Mumbai and Delhi post-pandemic and to launch online academic, test-prep and supplementary courses, including foreign language, technical, vocational and skill-enhancement offerings in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Klassroom has raised USD 200K in this Pre-Series A round to grow existing offerings, enhance technology and scale toward a stated goal of growing 10X by 2023.

BankSathi reports a 40X increase in advisor base, has served over three million customers across 18,000 pin codes, and achieved an ARR of $10 million in 20 months. The company partners with 60+ financial institutions including HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC First, SBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bank of Baroda, and recently received IRDAI approval for an insurance licence. It plans to use new funding to hire high-calibre employees, accelerate product and technology development, and expand its agent network and geographic reach, aiming to empower 10 million financial advisors and serve 50 million+ customers in five years. Founded in January 2020 by Jitendra Dhaka and virtually incubated at Nasscom 10000 Startups, BankSathi offers savings accounts, demat accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and business loans on its platform. The company plans to expand its product portfolio into insurance. BankSathi emphasizes guided matching of customers to the right financial product from the right bank or NBFC and uses AI to enable advisor workflows and flexible income opportunities. The startup reports 60% month-on-month growth, 34,000 active advisors on its platform, and revenue of Rs 2 crore in September, during which it paid Rs 1.6 crore in commissions to advisors. The company says it will deploy the fresh funding into sales and marketing, operations, and technology to support further growth. BankSathi operates an advisors' app that helps authorised advisors distribute retail loans, credit cards and insurance products and aims to promote adviser-led decision making. The startup currently has 5,000+ advisors across 700 pincodes and reports a total advisor income of Rs 75 lakh earned to date. It offers 45 products from 15 financial institutions on its platform and is focused on Tier‑II and beyond cities. The fresh seed funding will be used for product development, team building, and marketing and growth. Management targets one million advisors and 150 products from 50+ financial institutions by the end of this financial year, and plans to scale to five million advisors and 500 products from 100 FIs over the next three years. Co‑founders Jitendra Dhaka and Sandeep Choudhary say they expect to raise another round of investment by the middle of this year to achieve these goals.
