Founded in 2021, Kondree focuses on mitigating oxidative stress to improve the quality of life of patients with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a severely disabling form of myopathy. The company’s long-term solution will combine a digital medical device (DMN) with complementary antioxidant medications. With a current team of four employees and support from the SATT AxLR tech-transfer organization, Kondree is first building practitioner decision-support software. The freshly secured capital will fund the completion of this initial software and prepare for a planned European launch in 2026.
