Overview

Kranus Health developed Kranus Edera, a fully reimbursable digital therapeutic launched in January 2022 that delivers a 12-week digital coaching program for erectile dysfunction including pelvic floor training, physical exercises, cardiovascular training, mindfulness and sexual therapy exercises. The app has been prescribed by hundreds of urologists and issued thousands of prescriptions, and its launch was regarded as one of the most successful digital therapeutic (DiGA) rollouts in Germany. The platform can be prescribed alongside medication or as a stand‑alone therapy and aims to provide long‑term recovery prospects while educating patients on lifestyle factors that influence erectile function. Founded in 2020 and based in Munich and Berlin, the company is expanding its focus to other men's health conditions such as incontinence and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Kranus Health employs about 50 people and plans to more than double headcount to over 100. The company raised more than €6 million in a Series A and will use the funding to support further clinical research, including a large randomized, controlled trial with Universitätsklinikum Münster.
