- Leanspace
Participated · Series A · Nov 2025
Founded in 2020, Leanspace has built a modular software platform covering satellite monitoring & control, mission planning, ground-segment orchestration and hardware testing. The system is already flight-proven and used by more than 20 commercial operators, including Quantum Space, Look Up and Clearspace. In 2024 the company began targeting enterprise and institutional customers and has since signed seven contracts with organizations such as Airbus Defence & Space, Hispasat and the European Space Agency. Leanspace now serves six market segments spanning small satellites, constellations, in-orbit service vehicles, launchers & spaceports, large satellites and ground-station networks. The company positions its open, customizable platform as the backbone for secure, agile and cost-efficient “software-defined” satellite operations. With fresh backing from strategic aerospace and IT partners, Leanspace plans to expand in Europe and North America, offer turnkey mission-operations systems and build an ecosystem of satellite manufacturers, cloud providers and space-services firms around its technology.
- TiHive Technologies
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
TiHive Technologies develops proprietary CMOS terahertz chips integrated with advanced optics and an AI software stack to deliver inline, see-through imaging on production lines. Its multi-camera, multi-source platform detects internal defects, residual moisture, material distribution issues, and thickness deviations in real time, already analysing millions of hygiene products each week for leading manufacturers. The non-ionising terahertz approach enables miniaturised, low-energy hardware that supports scalable, high-throughput inspection. With the fresh capital, the Grenoble-based company plans to commercialise its vision solutions more broadly, push next-generation terahertz chips with stronger AI capabilities, and scale across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. TiHive is also targeting new regulated markets such as textiles, leather, recycling, agriculture, aerospace, and space, where non-destructive quality verification and impurity detection are critical.
- Look Up Space
Participated · Series A · Jun 2025
Look Up builds a global radar network (SORASYS) and digital platforms such as SYNAPSE to detect and analyse orbital objects and offer Space-Operations-as-a-Service. Founded in 2022 by Michel Friedling and Juan Carlos Dolado Perez, the company already operates a high-precision radar in France and plans two more in French Polynesia. Its full-stack solution also ties into the EU-backed ATLAS2 programme for automated low-Earth orbit safety. The startup had over 60 employees as of June 2025 and plans to reach 100 by year-end. Planned uses of the new funding include deploying additional radar units, launching a space operations centre, accelerating international expansion, and validating its service model with an in-orbit demonstration. Look Up positions itself to meet rising demand for coordinated space traffic management from public and private operators and to strengthen European sovereignty in space surveillance. Look Up Space is developing a global space-surveillance solution based on a worldwide network of radars and an innovative platform for massive fusion and processing of multi-source data. Its systems are designed to provide permanent, real-time, atmosphere-insensitive and precise surveillance capable of detecting centimeter-class objects. The company is building the SORASYS space-surveillance radar demonstrator and the SYNAPSE multi-source data fusion and processing platform, with plans to complete development by the end of 2024. Look Up Space targets institutional and private, civil and military customers with space security data and services. Led by Michel Friedling and Juan Carlos Dolado and based in Toulouse, the company will have more than 20 employees by September 1 drawn from French and European space and digital organisations, CNES and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. It recently raised €14M (€7M private, €7M public subsidies) to support product development.
- BforeAI
Participated · Series B · Jan 2025
BforeAI builds the PreCrime™ platform, a behavioral AI–powered predictive attack intelligence and digital risk protection solution that predicts and preempts malicious campaigns. The company says PreCrime monitors 98% of the Internet, predicts threats an average of 18 days ahead, and posts a 0.05% false positive rate. BforeAI recently launched a PreCrime Guarantee and a breach protection pledge with a leading global cyber insurance provider, reimbursing customers up to ten times their service contract if impacted by a covered failure. The company has grown substantially over the past year, was named a 2024 Gartner Cool Vendor for AI in Banking and Investment Services, and relocated its headquarters to New York. It plans to use the new funding to expand sales resources, strengthen partnerships, enhance the PreCrime platform and accelerate market expansion into utilities, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. BforeAI is led by CEO and founder Luigi Lenguito. BforeAI offers predictive attack intelligence and digital risk protection services through its AI-driven PreCrime™ platform. The platform ingests massive datasets and analyzes Internet metadata to map and predict malicious infrastructure, establish baselines, and detect anomalies to deter attacks before they execute. The company says this enables a preemptive active defense posture; CEO Luigi Lenguito stated BforeAI is automatically blocking thousands of attacks every day. Customers worldwide include large social media platforms, financial services organizations, and global manufacturers in the medical device, food service, and home electronics industries. BforeAI raised $15M in a Series A round and intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts. Early investors Karma Ventures, Karista, and Addendum Capital participated alongside lead investor SYN Ventures and a new investment from the Partnership Fund for New York City. Bfore.AI develops an AI-driven predictive cybersecurity platform called the PreCrime Network that forecasts threats in hours rather than weeks. Its core software originates from a decade-long research programme funded through France's iLAB grant regime. The product focuses on identifying vulnerable vectors into enterprise IT networks and the company claims a 0.05% false positive rate. Bfore.AI has integrated with partners such as Quad9 for DNS intrusion blocking and works with the Global Cyber Alliance, ThreatStop, and CDRF Labs. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Montpellier, France, the startup is expanding its product capabilities and partnerships. The recent Series A funding will be used to drive expansion and bring new features for northern European markets and North America.
- Deemea
Led · Seed · Jun 2024
DEEMEA develops the DEEMEA Research Platform, an AI-driven software suite for medical imaging that covers the full clinical research workflow from initial data collection to statistical analysis with advanced structuring and integrated quality assurance. The platform includes automatic image annotation and data review tools, universal APIs, foundation AI models for major radiology modalities, and a library of automated quality-control algorithms alongside proprietary and open-source deep-learning models for targeted pre-interpretation in orthopedics, rheumatology, oncology and certain rare diseases. After three years of R&D, DEEMEA launched in early 2024 a solution that digitizes all stages of medical imaging data management for clinical research and offers a federated research capability to preserve European patient data sovereignty. The company reports more than a dozen clinical sites using the platform across France, Germany and Italy, and commercial customers in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors for real-world studies and prospective trials. In June 2024 DEEMEA raised €4 million from Karista and YZR Capital to intensify its European deployment and scale operations. The funding is expected to provide financial support and access to investor networks and experts to accelerate adoption and reduce timelines and costs for clinical studies.
